Calling Midlands & East Members - ASRA Needs You!

Are you based in the Midlands & East Region? If so, you could be our next ASRA Regional Representative!

Regional Reps co-ordinate and represent activity within a designated ASRA region, are elected to sit on the Management Committee, and typically serve a term of three years in office.

Typical Duties Include;

  • To work to the ASRA Articles of Association.
  • Attend four ASRA Management Committee meetings.
  • Disseminate relevant information from the ASRA Management Committee to members.
  • Represent the view of the region to the ASRA Management Committee.
  • To arrange two regional meetings each year.
  • To chair regional meetings and to circulate minutes to members.
  • Highlight specific areas of interest within the region for ASRA publications/blogs.
  • To keep the Communications and IT Officer updated on relevant regional events.
  • Liaise with the The Events Officer and regional members on training needs of the region.
  • To welcome and support new members in the region.
  • To act as focus for the region for informal advice and to feed information back to members.
  • To attend the annual ASRA conference and be available for the ASRA stand.
  • To seek new membership within region.
