South West Regional Meeting hosted at IQ Student Accommodation, Astor House. 

We are delighted to invite ASRA members to a day of insightful discussion, networking, and exploration. The day will begin at 10:30am with arrival tea and coffee, and lunch will be provided at the venue.

We are pleased to welcome our guest speaker, Helen Arber, who will join us online to share insights from the Unite Foundation. The Unite Foundation is a national charity offering accommodation scholarships for care experienced and estranged students. Helen will provide an overview of the charity and its schemes, with a special focus on their ‘Blueprint for a #HomeAtUniversity’, a framework demonstrating how student accommodation can positively influence access, participation, and outcomes for these students.

Other highlights include:

• A tour of iQ Astor House, exploring both communal spaces and bedrooms, kindly guided by the Astor House Team.
• Our popular roundtable discussion, where members will have the opportunity to discuss current challenges affecting their sites and universities, and share best practice.
• An update on the ASRA Conference 2026, taking place in Liverpool from 19–22 April 2026.

We aim to close the meeting by 3:30pm. A full agenda with timings will be shared shortly.
