GDPR
You will have heard of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force on 25 May, 2018. The new law is all about Personal Identifying Information (PII) and the way that this is collected, stored and used.
The new law requires organisations that use personal data to be transparent in explaining each of these uses to people; to provide choices about these where appropriate to do so; to keep it securely; to only collect and retain the minimum amount of personal data necessary to carry out their functions and to only retain it for as long as required.
If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
