ASRA Awards 2026 - Submit Your Nominations!
Calling all Student Accommodation Professionals!
ASRA is thrilled to announce the launch of the ASRA Awards 2026, our third celebration recognising the incredible individuals and teams who go above and beyond to drive positive change and enhance the experience of our residents.
We have five categories this year – two for Teams, two for Individuals & one open to either!
Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Champion (Team or Individual Award)
Celebrating outstanding commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students and staff.
We’re looking for individuals or teams who’ve made a real impact in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within accommodation or residential life. Nominees should demonstrate measurable impact through feedback, engagement, or tangible improvements, and embody the values of respect, fairness, and inclusion.
The Best Student Home – Team Award
This one’s about more than bricks and mortar, it’s about how your accommodation feels.
Does it create a real sense of community? Do your students feel safe, supported, and connected? What makes your approach unique? We want to hear about the places students proudly call home, and would recommend to their friends!
Res Life Hero of the Year – Individual Award
For the individual who always goes the extra mile.
This could be someone regularly recognised by students, praised in surveys, or personally thanked for their support. We’re looking for that shining light, the all-round good egg who makes everything run smoothly, and makes a real difference to residents’ lives.
Innovation of the Year – Team Award
Celebrating creative thinking that enhances both the business and the student experience.
This could be a joint initiative between a university, private provider, or supplier. Has your team, or one you know, introduced an innovative project, whether around sustainability, technology, or workplace culture, that’s delivering real impact? We’d love to hear about it!
Accommodation Hero of the Year – Individual Award
For accommodation professionals who make a tangible difference every day.
We’re looking for those dedicated, hardworking individuals who go above and beyond in service delivery and operational management, caring deeply about the experience they provide to their residents.

The deadline for nominations is Friday 16th January 2026. Please note that there is a 500 word limit to your justification.
All submissions will be judged by an independent panel of industry experts, with shortlisted people and teams being announced by the end of February 2026.
If you believe your team or someone you know deserves recognition for their hard work, don’t miss the chance to nominate! Please ensure that only one nomination per team member or team is submitted per category from the same organisation. The organisation must be a member of ASRA.
