Help Shape the Future of Training in the Student Accommodation Sector

ASRA members are invited to help shape the future of training and professional development across the student accommodation sector.

Unipol and the National Codes are undertaking research to better understand the training and development needs of staff working in both university managed and private student accommodation. The findings will help inform future learning opportunities and support the continued development of a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.

Why is this research important?

High quality student accommodation depends on well-trained and well-supported staff. Yet there is currently limited sector specific training available, and there is a clear opportunity to better understand the knowledge, skills and development priorities of colleagues working across the sector.

By taking part, ASRA members can help ensure that future training provision reflects the real needs and experiences of those delivering accommodation and support services to students every day.

Who can take part?

The research team is keen to hear from colleagues from a wide range of organisations, roles and levels of experience.

Whether you are actively involved in staff development or have never engaged with sector training before, your views are valuable. A broad range of perspectives will help build a clearer picture of the sector's needs.

What's involved?

Unipol and the National Codes have partnered with Resound Training, which will be conducting the research through a series of online interviews and focus groups with colleagues from across the student accommodation sector.

Taking part is an opportunity to share your experiences, highlight current challenges and influence the future direction of training and professional development.

Register Your Interest

If you would like to learn more or express an interest in participating, please complete the Expression of Interest form by Monday 22nd June.
