Unipol Accommodation Costs Survey 2026 – Data Collection Now Open
The Unipol Accommodation Costs Survey 2026 is now open for data collection, with universities and private student accommodation providers across the UK invited to contribute their data.
As the UK's longest-running student accommodation survey, the Accommodation Costs Survey has provided independent sector evidence since 1967. The findings help inform policy, support students and shape the future of student accommodation.
Why Take Part?
Participation helps ensure the survey reflects current accommodation provision and costs across the UK. The findings provide valuable evidence for both universities and private providers, supporting benchmarking and a better understanding of accommodation costs and trends.
The survey report also contributes to national discussions around affordability, access and student wellbeing, helping inform decision-making and encourage best practice across the sector.
The more organisations that participate, the stronger and more representative the evidence base becomes. By contributing data, providers can help build a clearer picture of the relationship between housing costs and the student experience.
