Why Birmingham? Discover the Host City for ASRA Conference 2027
When selecting a host city for the ASRA Conference, there's much more to consider than simply finding a venue. Accessibility, location, facilities and the overall delegate experience all play an important role in creating a successful Conference.
We're delighted that the ASRA Conference 2027 will take place from Sunday 18th to Wednesday 21st April at The Eastside Rooms, Birmingham.
Although Birmingham previously hosted the ASRA Conference in 2018, 2027 marks our first visit to The Eastside Rooms, providing an exciting new setting for delegates to learn, connect and collaborate.
As one of the UK's best-connected cities, Birmingham is ideally placed for delegates travelling from across the UK and Ireland. With excellent rail, road and air links, it's an accessible destination that makes it easier than ever for members to come together to learn, network and share best practice. The Eastside Rooms is just a short walk from Birmingham New Street Station, with Birmingham Moor Street and Snow Hill stations also nearby, making travel straightforward wherever you're travelling from.
Earlier this year, members of the ASRA Management Team visited both The Eastside Rooms and Birmingham to explore the venue, experience the city first-hand and begin planning for Conference 2027. The visit gave us the opportunity to review the conference facilities, consider the delegate journey and ensure the venue offers the welcoming, inclusive environment our members expect from an ASRA Conference.
The Eastside Rooms impressed us with its modern conference facilities, flexible event spaces and excellent accessibility. The venue's dedicated Wellness Room and commitment to creating an inclusive environment also align with ASRA's values, helping to ensure every delegate feels comfortable, supported and able to make the most of the Conference experience.

Beyond the Conference itself, Birmingham has so much to offer. From its thriving food and hospitality scene to its rich cultural heritage and vibrant city centre, delegates will have plenty of opportunities to explore, catch up with colleagues and enjoy everything the city has to offer. We're also planning an exciting social programme, with more details to be revealed in the coming months.
We can't wait to welcome the ASRA community to Birmingham in April 2027 and look forward to sharing more exciting announcements as preparations continue!
